It's probably in here somewhere, but I can't find it....

I've seen 12V DC marine/RV kits to make an insulated box into a refrigerator.

Is there such a thing for 120v AC systems? The 12V sytems are pretty small, and would require a converter (not a big deal, but..).

I can't find one. Please let me know if you have. I don't really feel like fileting a frige to get pieces - bending/unbending panels, probably puncturing the pipes, etc. I also want to refrigerate a slightly larger space than 6f^3.

Thanks,

Dave

did you find anything? i found a couple links for 120v conversion kits, but they look pretty expensive...

i have a couple buddies that use regular old window air conditioners for walk-in coolers (both are farmers, and use them for eggs and chicken). If your custom fridge is on an exterior wall (or in the garage/basement/outside), it could work for you alot cheaper.
