refreshing,slightly nutty,good mouth feel
I experamented with this and am very happy ith the results. it will be one of my staple recipes.

6 lbs american 2 row
4 Lbs wheat malt
1/2 Lb Honey malt
1/2 Lb carapils

mash at 153 dg 60 minutes in 5 gallons of carbon filtered water. drain. batch sparge with 3 gallons at 170 dg for 10 minutes. drain. you should get 6.5-7 gallons. Boil 60 minutes and add hops as below

.25 centennial 60 minutes
.25 centennial 45 minutes
.50 centennial 30 minutes
1.0 cascade 10 minutes

fermented 10 days at 68 dg. crash cooled for 2 days. kegged@ 11 psi for 6 days. beer seemed nicely carbed. drank this all Labor day weekend. wish I had another 5 gallons for when this runs out, but I'm fermenting a Hefe right now. when it's done another batch of this is next.
