My third brew kit, I made this one gallon red ale for my wife. Starting OG on this red ale was 1.076 and final today was 1.010 after three total weeks fermenting. I followed the brew instructions to the mark except I reduced to only 3/4 gallon of water. I ended up with six 12 oz bottles of very dark beer. I drank the hydrometer sample and it is way too strong my for my session taste. I primed with 15 grams of organic raw cane sugar and I'll condition these in the bottle for 3 weeks. I will post pics when she glasses one. She seldom drinks but loves a strong one when she does. Hope it ends well.
