Made a mistake when brewing this weekend and I am curious what it is I may have brewed by accident.
I was a little careless and emptied the wrong bag of malt into the mash tun (3kg of pilsner malt instead of 3 kg Pale Ale). Recipe now looks like this:

1kg Pale Ale
0.5kg Munich Malt I
3Kg Pilsner
0.350kg Black Malt
50g Cascade at boil

Wyeast American Ale yeast @ 18 DegC

pretty sure it will be palatable, just no idea what to call it :)

Base malt makes no difference since you used a metric buttload of black malt, which will overpower everything else. This will be a dry, perhaps-ashy, 20A American Porter.
