I'll be bottling three beers this week and I'm lucky enough to have the rest of the week off. I want to brew some more, one or two at least but I'm not really feeling inspired. What would you make with the following which I've got on hand.
4oz each
Summit
Amarillo
Challenger
Mount hood
8oz each
Hallertauer Hersbrucker
Hallertau Mittlefrau
7lb each
Light DME
Spray dried wheat extract
14lb
Medium malt extract
1.5lb or 1lb each
Melanoidin Malt
Extra light crystal malt
Light crystal malt
Medium crystal malt
Caramunich malt
Roast Barley
Roasted caramalt 800 EBC
Roasted caramalt 1200 EBC
Yeasts
(currently brewing, can harvest)
English IPA (?)
Czech (?)
(dry)
Bruferm wheat
Danstar wheat
Bruferm Lager
Safale S04 ale
Any ideas? Ideally I want to make some wheat beers before the weather gets too much warmer here, also would like to experiment with belgian beers, making some candi sugar, been reading some excellent articles on the stuff. Also want to try some more exotic hopping techniques as so far I've only really used bittering at the start and thrown in another single variety 15 minutes before the end.
