The purpose of GB hops is mostly b/c I happen to have an oz or so in the freezer, and I thought it could be interesting as a bittering hop in an american ale. Any suggestions?

Size: 5.0 gal

Original Gravity: 1.052 (1.045 - 1.060)
Terminal Gravity: 1.013 (1.010 - 1.015)
Color: 6.21 (5.0 - 14.0)
Alcohol: 5.15% (4.5% - 6.2%)
Bitterness: 47.4 (30.0 - 45.0)

Ingredients:
9 lb 2-Row Brewers Malt
.5 lb Munich Malt
1 oz green bullet (12%) - added during boil, boiled 60 min
1 oz Crystal (3.2%) - added during boil, boiled 5.0 min
.5 lb Caramel Malt 20L

I'd suggest adding another late hop addition - add something at 20/15 minutes or maybe split the 5 min addition between 20/15 and 5...as it is, you'll have very little hop flavor (though plenty of bitterness and aroma). You might also consider dry-hopping for an APA.

APAs usually have strong hop flavors and aroma - BJCP 2008 Style Guidelines - Category 10

I was curious as how it paired with crystal hops. I have both hops right now and am looking for something to use them with.
