Alright, so this is what I have written down, but I want some input on any beneficial changes I could make:
6 lbs of light DME
1lb chocolate malt
8oz roasted barley
8oz black patent

1oz perle at 60
1lb lactose at 60
4oz cocoa powder at 10
1 scraped vanilla bean at 10

Wyeast 1098 british ale.

I was thinking about skipping the cocoa powder and racking onto nibs in secondary. also, how do the grains look, is it too much or what? hopville seems to think it'll work but i'm not doing anything based solely on a calculator if i can get away with it.
