A while back on this forum somewhere, I read the words, "Raspberry Serrano Porter." There were no details, other than that the person that had it was amazed by it, and, based on this information, I had to make one for myself.

I started with Jamil's "Brewing Classic Style's" Raspberry Porter, which was adjusted for doing a 3.5 gallon batch, all grain, at 68% efficiency. The recipe is below:

I keep going back and forth on the serrano additions. I recently did the well-reviewed Jalapeno Cream Ale beer on these forums, and loved it. I was thinking of three roasted serrano's, but then if I just want the heat, should I just add peppers in the secondary with the frozen raspberries? I would LOVE some input please, especially if you've done a beer such as this.
