When we moved here 6 years ago I had several trash barrels without lids. They've been stacked and get used for moving dirt, leaves, sand, etc. This one was in the middle of the stack when a rock squirrel decided to destroy it.
You sure it wasn't Bullwinkle the Moose and not Rocky the Squirrel?

On my way from Puyallup (KPLU) to Bremerton (KPWT) for the proverbial $100 dollar hamburger (actually don't remember what I had for lunch, but the new restaurant is nice.) Tacoma Narrows Bridges at 1 o'clock, Tacoma Narrows Airport at 11 o'clock, and the Olympic Mountains 10 - 11 o'clock in the distance.

The fuzzy grey/black streaks in the pic are typical artifacts when shooting thru a propeller with a digital camera.

Brew on :mug:

That's the "Galloping Gertie" bridge replacement at 1 o'clock

That Galloping Gertie film never gets old. There are actually two bridges now. A four lane bridge opened in 1950 that originally carried traffic in both directions, but now only westbound traffic, and another four lane bridge to the south, opened in 2007, that carries only eastbound traffic.

Looking west, 1950 bridge on right, 2007 bridge on left.

I went outside to water a cactus in the front yard instead of the backyard , looked up and the sky was pink. It was finished within 10 minutes. We're less than 75 miles from the Mexican border, I never imagined the northern lights would be so visible this far south.

Yeah, I've wanted to see the northern lights my entire life, I've been to Canada and other northern states many times but never lucky enough, then last night I got to see them in my back yard... crazy.. cool stuff. Nice pics btw!

Eastern sky pink last night here in W MA but no pics because it would look mostly like trees.

Also, good on ya for watering your cactus. It's been ages since I've watered my cactus.

I live in California. I was talking to my friend that lives in Wisconsin. Without thinking I said something about him living on the East Coast. I felt a bit surprised when he informed me that the Midwest was not on the East Coast. We settled on the east coast of the Great Lakes.
