So... i sent an email to my local friendly home brew shop in order to refill my stock of specialty grains. I was planning on making a 10gal porter last weekend... well, its been a while since i needed a restock and I sent him everything i needed, but just bought them in the nearest pound increments so i'd have some for this weekends brew day as well. Well, about an hour after i sent the email i realized my mistake, i never told him it was to stay all separate... too late. He apologized, it was my fault, i dont care, i took it as an opportunity to possibly create a random beer but i'm not 100% how well everything will work out together. So, HBT'ers, here we are... this is what is currently in 2 fermenters down in my basement, tell me how you think it will end up.
16lbs 2 row
2lbs Munich
1lb Special B
1lb Special Roast
1lb Caramunich
1lb Chocolate
3oz Hallertau @60
3oz Willamette @15
White Labs Irish Ale
I already had the Irish Ale in the starter so i was stuck with that yeast. It smelled fantastic, but i think most unburnt wort smells fantastic so i'm not really good judge on that one
