Ranco ETC Help

I purchased a used Ranco ETC-112000 on ebay and wired it up. Its a 24v unit, running through a 24v transformer. Its the same model as the etc-111000, just 24v. I'm running into an issue that is showing the incorrect temperature. Its showing that the temp is 137. Obviously its no where near that in my house, more like 65. Please help. Any input is appreciated.
