Ranco Controller Override Fridge Thermostat

Does anyone know if you can use the Digital Ranco Temperature Controller to set a mini-fridge to freezing temperatures?

You can certainly set the Ranco to keep the mini fridge running 'til it hits freezing temperature as measured by its probe. Whether the mini fridge can actually get to freezing temperature is a different question...

Thanks, I may give it a try. I'm buying a chest freezer, but I may want use that as a two-carboy fermentation chamber, and use the mini-fridge as my ice freezer.

I recently cold crashed an ale in there and it easily got down to 39 degrees. I would think it could go further!
