Do you guys have any links or info on your local water report?

I've searched around and I think I found one from 2005 but when I searched for Cary, it came up with Apex. Is that near you guys?

If you have a current one, please post it. In April if we brew, I'd like to brew a stout if the water is better for it than the Hampton water is.

I treated my water for the last porter I did, and I think that is what caused that sour taste--so I'd rather just brew something that would work best instead of messing with a treatment.

I looked on my states DNR website to get connected to the local water district.

I emailed them my address and asked for the specific info. You could do the same.

This would be a good place to start looking, but you may need to check with individual city govt.

I should have known "Raleigh" NC. Thought there was a Raleigh in VA.

This is the latest report for Raleigh, sounds like the one you found. As far as I know, Cary gets their water from Raleigh so it should be relevant.

[edit]Actually, Apex & Cary have their own treatment plant now - here's a report from Cary, but it doesn't seem to provide the details you would need.

That is definitely what we are looking for! But....I wonder why it is only from 2005? Tell them to update it!
