This is my first recipe posting so if I forget something just ask and I will add it.
I first made a batch of this 2 years ago as I startd to create my own recipes. I have brewed around 6-7 batches of it and it is always the first to go when we have friends over, anytime of year.

Originally an extract recipe before I switched to AG.

5 gallon batch

EXTRACT
7lb Pilsner DME
.5 lb Crystal 60L
.5 lb Carapils
1.25 lb Special B

Steep grains for 30min
(I add them at 100 and raise temp to 160 hold for 30 then raise to 170 and remove)

ALL GRAIN
11 lb Pilsner
.5 lb Crystal 60L
.5 lb Carapils
1.25 lb Special

Mash 154
I do a step mash and mash in at 120 and raise to 130 hold for 30 and raise to 154 and hold for 60

1.5 oz Cascade 60min
1oz Cascade 30min
1oz Crystal 30min
1oz Cascade 15 min
1oz Citra 10

Dry Hop 14 days
1oz Citra
1oz Cascade

Yeast:
Cali, Chico, Notty, your fav ale yeast will do. Just did a batch with NW Ale and its pretty damn good.

Hope you enjoy!

Special B is a very rich dark caramel malt from Belgium. It tastes like prunes or apricots; at least to me. It's very rich, to me it's similar to crystal 120.

Couldn't tell ya what special roast is
