I have a coopers stout in the primary right now and was wondering if i should bother racking it. I know its good to rack lagers and pale ales for clarity but does it make a difference with a stout?

500g DME
Coopers Original Stout 1.7 kg
1 kg Brew Enhancer 2

Nope, don't bother. In fact, racking to a secondary is not even encouraged much in other ales any more. Just keep it in your primary for four weeks or so before bottling or kegging.

Nope doesn't make a difference as far as clarity though you may not want to keep the stout on the yeast and traub that long for flavouring issues. I personally don't secondary and ferment in a carboy.
