i just started my second batch yay! only problem is i forgot i only have one airlock, and i have another batch sitting in the secondary with it. my question is could i get away with putting a solid stopper on my secondary or should i go get another airlock. by the way the beer is about 3 weeks old.

That first batch is probably done by now. Take the airlock of your secondary and cover the mouth of the carboy with some quality plastic wrap (AKA Saran wrap or Glad wrap). Secure it with a rubber band. Good plastic wrap is fairly impervious to oxygen so none gets in, but securing it with an elastic will allow any gases to escape if the pressure builds up inside the carboy.

Then go to your LHBS and drop $1.50 for a second airlock for your next batch (heck, buy two or three at that price). :D
