Tomorrow will be my first time brewing in about 6 months. Just wanna be clear. I take a sample, get OG, pitch yeast, take another sample to be able to check later. I think thats what I used to do.
Check the gravity before you pitch the yeast (OG). Then 2 weeks later check it to see where it's at. A week later check it again and if it is still the same as your last reading then that is likely your FG. You can check one more time a couple days later to make sure..
