Hey Guys,

i just kegged off my first brew and I sampled off a beer and needed a little more time. My question was, once I tap off a beer with the tap if I need to carbonate longer, how do I clean out the tap without purging it with CO2? :ban:

I assumed I could just wait till the next check of the keg but I didn't want to containment anything in the process!!

Cheers!!

Hey Bib I tried to open the tap under water and under free flowing tap water and it seemed like everything was trapped in the line.... even with everything wide open... am I doing something wrong or what would you suggest??

Somethig wrong.

You'll need to depress the Pin inside of the Ball Lock Connector to release the vacuum. Take the tap apart...and hold the connector up and push the pin in with a pencil eraser.
