Hey guys I am working on my first brew and I think my ferment is stuck. The final gravity is suppose to between 1.016-18 and its been floating around 1.020 or so for about 7 days. Is this okay? Should i carry on and move it to the secondary fermenter?

That is pretty common for extract - especially to start. Did you taste it? If it tastes good and the gravity is stable, you can't go ahead and bottle it or give it a bit of time in a secondary if you prefer. If there are any noticeable off flavors, leave it in the primary and let the yeast continue to work on it.

1.016 - 1.018 vs. 1.020 is not much different. Probably done.

If it is not finished, the likelihood of bottle bombs is low, you would probably just get gushers.
