Hi all,

I will be doing a 5liter brew this weekend and I have scaled the recipe from a standard 23liter brew. Do I also need to scaled the yeast or can I just use the whole 11g? The yeast I have is Lallemand Danstar Nottingham Yeast For Home Brew Ale Beer Brewing 11g.

You don't NEED to scale it but you can. Depending on how much you use will dictate how fast those yeasts will attenuate your beer and change your flavor profile (among with other factors, of course).
From my experience Nottingham can be aggressive so perhaps 1/3-1/2 of the pack is a good start. Or if you're brave, chuck the whole thing in there ;).

What do you anticipate your starting gravity to be?
