Question about racking my cider

After fermentation is done - who racks into a clean carboy before cold crashing and drinking ? And who just leaves it in the jug and cold crashes ?

I think I want to rack into a clean 1 gallon glass carboy before cold crashing and drinking. I want my cider clear.

Any pros cons or suggestions ?

Racking into a clean Secondary carboy will get it off the lees in the Primary.

Is it more work? Yes.

Is it worth it? Yes, IMHO.
