question about Iodophor solution

Hi, I've made what I think is a 12,5 ppm solution of Iodophor using 12,5ml of Betadiene in 10L of water ( like you said here: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f11/what-sanitisers-cleaners-used-43688/ ).

The problem is that the solution looks like too light in color to me. It' like a pilsen beer, yellow and not copper-like.
So what color should be a real 12,5ppm solution of Iodopohr? does anybody have a picture?

The technical color for iodophor dilluted to proper ratio is "straw." Sort of a light yellow/pisswater color, about what Nebben Posted.

This is a great piece on mixing properly, most people actually mix waaaay to strong a concentration, and actually bigger is not better in this case.

As of 2 years ago iirc, the measurement was change to get the right dillution, they sent new data sheets out to lhbs's to pass out, I got one when I was buying more. And it indicated that 1tbs/5 gallons was the new dillution measurement.

1 Tbsp of Iodophor = 15 mL of Iodophor

5 Gallons of Water = 19 Lit. of Water

15/19 = 0.8 mL of Iodophor per liter of Water

Therefore , for 10 Lit. of Water you need 8 mL of Iodophor

Why did you use 12.5 mL of Iodophor ?!
