I'm doing my first AG dry stout and something occurred to me when I was mashing in...should I have run the flaked barley through my mill with the other grains? I didn't and it's too late now, but what's the answer? Appreciate any more experienced brewer's answer.
 
Thanks guys. I noticed that the flaked barley was 20% of my recipe's gravity points, so I was concerned that it would cause me to miss my OG. But looks like I'm fine.
 
I have gone both ways and never noticed any difference in the final product.
