I Have a number of these small stubby bottles I would like to reuse, but unfortunately my plain old red Barron capper won't do the trick. I was wondering if anyone has had luck capping these stubby bottles with a bench capper. Is it worth the investment? Or should I just go buy a couple cases of new bottles?

After breaking off the neck of a half dozen of these during my last bottling day I read a couple of posts here that said, yes, a bench capper works just fine with the stubby bottles. Got one I can buy? 😄

The issue seems to be that these bottles have a very small lower/second lip which the hand cappers need. I didn't know if a bench capper would remedy the problem.

I have used a red baron on the stubbies that Boulevard uses without any issues. I have not tried the session bottles tho.
