QDs teflon tape?

I am in the final stages of getting my brew rig together and am not sure about attaching polysulfone QDs. Should I use teflon tape on qd male threads? Should I use tape on stainless male threads going to poly qd? Thanks

Any threaded connection that seals at the threads can benefit from teflon tape.

Any threaded connection that seals at the threads can benefit from teflon tape.

Be sure to keep the tape away from where the threads start on the male connector especially with gas connectors. Pieces of tape can end up clogging the small openings that allow the gas equipment to function. This is why paste is recommended for gas lines.

Do not overtighten or you will crack the QD. The fitting may seem loose but seals ok but if you tighten it more it can break.
