I'm brewing from a American Light kit with dry yeast. I'm not crazy how it tastes. Doesn't have much flavor. I followed the instructions. Two things I'm a little fuzzy on. How long after the fermentation is complete(mine took about 5 days), do I let it sit in the conical fermenter? I don't transfer because I just dump the trub a few days after fermentation is complete. The instructions claimed aprox 1 week for ferm and two weeks for secondary ferm/conditioning.
Also, my temps were around 72-74 degrees. Is this too high? How would this affect taste?
