So I recently tried and failed to grow some cuttings with really no idea what happened to them (around 10 cuttings). I was at the LHBS and took off a piece of a two year old healthy cascade plant. I pulled the lower leaves off, put the lowest nodes into well watered but drained compost/manure and they seem to have stalled. The top leaves dried and fell off and the top of the shoot appeared dry and not green as well. I went against better judgement and pinched off all the top and ended up going lower than anticipated. Were close to a week in at this point and I want to make sure there is still hope for it. Unfortunately there are no nodes showing on the stem above the dirt. Will this take root and grow or should I just toss it?
