probably a stupid question

i recently moved. i found a box in the garage that had a bag of DME in it. The DME is Rock Hard. is it still useable? i can buy more but in these hard times no need to if not neccesary. ? thanks.

I'd use it for starters if nothing else. I think shelf life for dme is pretty good

should be ok...only reason it is hard is because of loosing moisture content - much like a old bag of brown sugar
