Guys,

I was just at Princess Auto in Winnipeg on Portage, and they have cornie kegs for sale at $25 each. They're Pepsi type, and they'll have to be reconditioned. At the price though, they're worth it. I picked up two, and they had about 10 left. I'm guessing they'll be available system wide as they look like they came out of Quebec, based on the labels. :mug:

Based on the name, it sounds to me like an auto parts store. What is an auto parts store doing with cornies. If it isn't an auto parts store, why is it named princess auto?

Princess Auto is the sexiest do it yourself awesomeness store. You know that tool you need but will only ever use once? They stock the chinese version of it. They also have a huge liquidation section. They sell everything the hobbiest needs. I'm in there probably once a week atleast.

I'll be honest though. I got my cornies for $20 each right out of circulation. I just started phoning around to the various chinese resturaunts.

Princess Auto probably started as an auto store at some point, but they sell pretty much anything you might want in a garage or workshop, provided you're not concerned with quality.

Cool. It sounds like a souped up version of Harbor Freight. I've never heard of them, and since only north of the border hbt'ers posted on this, I'm guessing they aren't stateside.

By the sound of it, I wish they were...

Ya they're a Canadian company. A really old one actually. They were around in late WW2 times I believe. They just had a big anniversary and had a promotion on where they sold select tools at original 60 year old prices. Like a screwdriver for $0.15! It was pretty neat. My Nova SS got a flat blade screwdriver JUST for adjusting the idle. It stays in the glove box :D

I'll have to keep an eye out for them at the Regina location. A friend of mine works there. Maybe I can even offer him some free beer if he gets me 2 at employee cost.
