Has anyone ever primed their beer for bottling with unfermented wort? like before transferring everything into primary removed about 1 liter of wort to save for bottling. Can this work or not?

best way ever..note store in mason jar refrigerated, cap loose.
heavy beer a 20oz will do .almost 40 oz for 1060 or less.

This seems backwards to me, can you clarify ?

higher gravity (heavy beer) has more sugars available to ferment/carbonate, so you need less. Lower gravity (1.060 or less) has less sugar, so you need more to get the same amount of carbonation.
