I think I'm gonna try priming with DME. So far I,ve been told 1-1.25 cups oughta do it, but how much water should I boil it in? Two cups, like corn sugar? Also, does it matter which DME to use? Light, X-Light, Dark, Amber, Etc?

When I prime with DME I usually use 1 1/4 cups of extra light boiled in about two cups of water. Watch out for boil overs when you're heating it.

Right, 1 1/4 for 5 gal. batch. Try to use Light ot X-Light to avoid side flavors from darker DME.
