Hello everyone. how are you? Well my bro bought me a beer brewing kit for christams. Well we brewed th other day and for some reason we thought the directions said put the priming sugar in with the malt. Well I did that. What can happen to the beet later i read it's not supposed to go in until the bottling stage. Thanks for your help im still learning.

The main problem you are going to have is that you are going to need to get more priming sugar before bottling, fairly easy if you have a local home brew shop... Putting in 5oz of extra sugar won't do much and will give you a very minor bump in ABV%. Enjoy the beer.

As stated it won't effect the beer enough for you to detect it. Just add the priming sugar prior to bottling per the instructions.
