My beersmith recipe calls for 10.04 oz of DME to prime 5 gals but all the other calculators. I've used are calling for around 7 oz of DME which one should I follow I'm looking for 2.3 co2.

either way, you're going to get a lot more than 2.3 volumes from that much dme. Use the priming calculator at tastybrew.com.
