I'm currently de-gassing my Apfelwein with my bottle brush hooked up to a drill over the course of the next couple of days. I'd like to have just one sparkling bottle, and I just want to double check the amount of priming sugar I'd need to go from flat to carbed.
I'm using
Bottle & Bulk Priming Calculator(AussieHomeBrewing)
Which gives me 1.11oz of corn sugar/gallon
at 65F for 3.0 volumes of Co2
the calc won't let me go lower than .91 volumes which would make sense, since that's the atomospheric pressure?
or in other words
.223oz of Corn Sugar/750ml
Do these numbers look correct?
