Howdy all, I have an apfelwein about 5 weeks into fermentation and am thinking of trying to back sweeten with 400g of lactose and prime with a 250ml bottle of all natural Apple juice concentrate. Has anyone primed cider or wine with Apple juice concentrate? And what was the result I don't want it too fizzy and champagne like. So any thoughts/ suggestions? The juice contains 154g sugar..

Cheers

Is the frozen concentrate that I hear everyone using comparable to liquid juice concentrate if so I can see why I didn't get an answer i just wasnt sure..

You will probably get better responses in the cider forum.
You can but I would not. If you over prime, you will create bottle bombs.

how big a batch is it?? that much sugar would be way to much on a 1 gallon batch but not enough on a 20 gallon batch.

I was going to put this in the cider section but then saw the I love apfelwein thread in the wine section so here we are.. anyways its about 6 gallons
