i left a blonde ale the recommended 5days in the primary fermenter and all the head/foam and activity stopped, moved it to the carboy with airlock, the gavity reads less than 1.01 and nothing is happening in the secondry? no bubble, no foam, no action?
why did this happen and whats the fix?
cheers..

The fix is for you to relax, and spend this time lurking around the forums.

Fermentation shouldn't happen in your secondary. By the time you rack the beer to secondary (which is a bit of a misnomer) all the fermentation should be complete. All that's happening now is that the sediment that's in suspension in your beer should be falling to the bottom, resulting in clearer beer. The yeast are cleaning up after themselves by feeding on their own waste products.
