If hyrdometer readings have stayed the same over a 2-3 day period and there is no obvious activity, will it hurt to let the beer go another week or two in the primary?? Are the yeast going to stall out or die?

I keep all beers in primary for 2 weeks minimum, and have left some in primary for up to 1 month. Extra time can give the yeast much needed time to clean up fermentation by products which can cause off-flavors.
