I have a cooling jacket which works well to hold temperature in my fermzilla but doesn't appear to be working to well for cold crashing. I'm looking at around $1000 either way as I need pretty much everything.

Well... a "fully loaded" (also everything you actually need) cf5 is about $1010 or so....
Plus, you will need a glycol chiller. DIY for as low as $50 or buy from $699, $899, or $999 depending on model.

I cannot speak to SS at all but hear its comprable gear.

I see A LOT of 5 gallons for sale on here- lots of guys moving up to 10 gallon.

You should be able to snag one soon.

Still looking? I have an extra 10gal corny keg that's set up for pressure fermentation. It fits into my counter height fridge with a spunding valve attached.

I can't decide between the SS Brewtech Unitank or the Spike CF5 system. I'd prefer to buy used.

Let me know what you have but I really prefer to ferment under pressure (12 PSI) and 7 gallons is perfect for my 5 gallon batches.

Did you check the sale listings there are 2 I know of that haven't sold yet. One in Chicago and another in Kansas City.

Oh right! That comes in the Unitank model... My bad thanks for the correction as the Chronical what go up to 5-7psi for transfer pressure. Forgot that for a second.

@Fidelity101 I have 2 CF5s i have been debating on parting with. Preferably i would like to get rid of both at the same time. I live like 3 hours away from you so it would be easy to meet half way if your looking not to ship

Thanks for the offer Taylor. I'm actually debating on selling my CF5 and picking up a larger system as it's easier to clean up after one 10 gallon batch vs. two 5 gallon batches that were split from a 10 gallon batch. I'm going to close this request as I may have another larger system available...or I'll just buy a new one.
