Just starting to get into kegging. I see there are kegs with and without pressure relief valves. Home brewing.org has a great deal on a set of 4 pin lock kegs. But they don't have the valves. Just wondering if it's worth it to spend the extra money to get the valves? Thanks Nick

My 2 kegs don't have prv's. When I'm purging, I just push down on the gas side post to bleed it. I'm sure that eventually I'll buy new lids with prv's, but it's not necessary right now. Others like the peace of mind that comes with a prv. A good deal is a good deal though. You can always retrofit the keg with a new lid with a prv.
