I just got a pressure cooker...

can I pressure cook keg pieces? (poppits)

airlocks?

taps? (picnic variety)

tap lines?

im so excited!

My first question would be why?

I would caution you to not cook plastic or rubber parts. The metal and silicone stuff will survive the cooking.

Metal parts yes, plastic and rubber parts doubtful unless they are autoclaveable plastics.

I think there is a nice picture of an airlock that someone tried to steralize by pressure cooking...It was a very pretty shape, but its usefulness as an airlock was long gone. ;)

yep, I pressure clean all my equipment every couple of months. The Therminator is the main thing, but I take off all the little rubber o-rings and whatnot before anything goes in there to get steamed. I left the rubber protector on the Therminator once, and it was gone after a 30 minute autoclaving.
