Preserving hops..

I have some hops that I got from a German hops field. It's a vine of hops that is pretty dried out, but I would like to preserve. I read spraying them with hair spray works. Anybody have any ideas?

Do you mean to preserve it for a decoration? Then hair spray should work. I remember women telling me something like that with flowers.

Might try clear coat spray paint.
