My buddy told me that if I have my grain milled for me and I'm not planning on using it right away I should store it in my freezer or it will loose some of its sugars. Is there any truth to this? I would be using it in with in three to four days.

cool, dry place is good enough for that timeframe. i don't really know if the fridge would do anything for it.

I doubt it will lose any of its sugars. Seeing as you need to put it in roughly 150 degree water to get the sugars into solution, at room temperature, it will be highly unlikely that it will lose any sugars. Try to use it as soon as you can, as far as freshness is concerned.
