Possible to Clean Contaminated Stainless Steel?

Hello Everyone! I have an opportunity to purchase a SS keggle that was previously used by a taxidermist for boiling animal skulls. They generally boil the remains in either water or a sal soda solution. Apparently the process stinks very bad. If I were extremely meticulous in cleaning and re-passivating this vessel would it work as boil kettle or would I be wasting my time and money? I was able to get my current kettle (used SS turkey fryer pot) completely clean and it works great.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

its steel, it will clean. Might take some soaking and elbow grease but it will shine up like new.

That's what I was thinking but thought I would throw it out there for other people's thoughts on the matter. For $20 it's hard to pass up the chance to upgrade my boil kettle
