possible mold...

I'm new to this site but I have a question for y'all: While getting ready to bottle a pale ale, I noticed a white soapy film on the surface of my beer in the secondary...went ahead and bottled anyway and of course have the same thing there. Everything else looks normal...clarity, sediment, etc...but there's still a film on the surface. Could this be mold? Thanks for any help.

Nope, bubbly, soapy substance is the carbonation foaming up.

Need to see a picture, but more than likely it's co2 bubbles with hopscum mixed in....

geez...that's the answer, it's pretty common with dry hopping...as the oils in the hops break down it traps the co2 and it looks...scary..
