Possible Kegerator?

Ok so my roomie and I have a sanyo fridge that is almost like the perfect kegerator fridge. Everyone seems to love the 4911 or whatever it is, this one is the same, except it has a small freezer on top of it that makes it about an inch or 2 too short for the cornies to fit. Does anyone know if i could just knock out the freezer part on this model? Its basically a thin sheet of metal that is semi-movable and has a plastic piece that slides out easily. We dont really have the cash to go get a new kegerator fridge, but if we could use this one our dreams would almost be complete.

nope. You can't take it out. people have bent them up and out of the way, but you can damage the coils going through the freezer shelf and then it's no good for anything.

Trade it for a freezerless one!
