Ok, so my friend picked up 2 cases of Weihenstephaner (original and the Weiss), which we split. (Distributor is far away). I really like the flavor, but was wondering (he noticed this as well) why there is a slight haze in the original lager. Could this be a chill haze? I had to keep it in the car (it was pretty cold out yesterday, below 32 F) until I went home. I didn't let any warm up to see if it disappeared. I didn't notice any off flavors, but without having their beer before I don't really know what it is supposed to taste like. Do you guys know if this is a chill haze or some other effect of older beer? Did I inadvertently affect the beer by subjecting it to very cold temps?
