Hello,

I brewed a ESB and forced carbonated by shaking method 1 week ago. A couple days after I forced carbonated I noticed a slight metallic taste, tingling sensation on my tongue. One week later the beer is tasting good/not green but still has this metallic aftertaste that lingers. This taste was not present before kegging. Do you think this is carbonic bite? If so, how can I fix this?

It could be, many people use that term to describe carbonic bite. To me it tastes a bit like the ice that would build up in old freezers...I know that's probably not a flavor that translates well haha. I've had it appear in beer that I've force carbonated with a lot of CO2 pressure. It goes away after a while.
