Anyone know of a good Pomegranate cider recipe? Thought I'd make a little something for the wifey...could I maybe follow another standard cider recipe and just sub pomegranate juice?

I would make apple cider (or edwort's apfelwein), and then once it's fermented completely rack to secondary, add potassium sorbate so that any new sugars aren't fermented, then add pomegranate juice to taste.

Zombie thread!

I've backsweetened apfelwein with pom juice. I used 32 oz for 4 gallons. It was... just okay.

Unless your adding spices, ciders don't really have a recipe. Juice is your recipe, what % you use of apples to Pom would make the only difference and whether your looking to back sweeten with one or the other will decide if you use camden/sorbate/pasteurize.
