I have a sanitized hopsack sitting on the bottom of my corny, do I...

  • remove it when I think it is done?

  • leave it till the keg is empty even if this is one month or more?

  • stop being a pansy and finish a keg in a month?

  • leave only for a specific number of days?

  • in future, dry hop in secondary so I can simply rack and leave behind?

If I dryhop in the keg, I leave it in there until the beer is gone. Since the keg is generally in the kegerator, I don't pull them out. I haven't noticed any off-flavors as of yet- but not too many kegs last a full month at my house, especially if they are IPAs.

I have a dry-hopped ale in the keg right now. Dry hopped in secondary, then racked (leaving the hops behind). I dry hopped with pellets and they were all broken up and settled to the bottom of the carboy, meaning a keg would spit those into the first few pints and maybe clog up the poppets. Leaf hops or hops contained in some sort of bag should be ok to leave in the keg though.
