I'm looking to try a new hop and am considering one of the Polish varieties. Has anyone tried one that they would recommend? Thanks.

Marynka is fairly foolproof. It's fairly clean, "hoppy", slightly herbal and floral. It works for me for bittering and late additions. I'm going to try Lublin when I have some time to make a double IPA with Marynka and Styrian Goldings.

Don't expect anything crazy, but I think they are a good cheap hop that works well with what you'd expect in German or Polish beers (specially strong lagers) but also fairly clean ales. Not sure about the US hop prices, but in the UK the Polish hops are a fair bit cheaper than the fancier hops (Citra, Amarillo, Chinook, etc.), so finding uses for them is fairly convenient.
